A fast overview of what Luxembourg has to offer:

• The nature of the Ardennes with its picturesque villages, the reservoir of Esch-sur-Sûre. Clervaux's Family of Man castle and the abbey, Vianden's Castle and finally Diekirch, where you can canoe on the Sûre are all attractions that you cannot miss.
• The Müllerthal region, better known as “Small Switzerland%u201D is known for its particular rock formations and for its waterfall the “Schiessentümpel%u201D. Echternach on the other side is famous for its abbey (who does not know St. Willibrordus!). The ruins of Beaufort together with the Butterfly garden of Grevenmacher are worth while a visit.
• The Mousel region. This is the wine area of Luxembourg. Its nature is completely different from the central region. Wine tasting should be in your program and you can do so in the wine cellars of Stadbredimus, Wormeldange, Wellenstein and Grevenmacher. The modern Cure and Spa complex of Mondorf-les-Bains will help you relax from all these cultural visits. A boat trip on the Mousel is also a “must%u201D if you visit this region.
• Luxemburg city with its casemates, the cathedral, the palace, the old city, shopping etc.
• Also in the south of the country you will find interesting things to do like in Rodange where you can take the “Train 1900%u201D for a trip like in the old days or visit the Mine museum of Rumelange. The attraction park "Parc Merveilleux" in Bettembourg could also be an alternative or why not view Luxembourg from a complete different perspective making a balloon journey in Junglinster.
• In Belgium you could visit the Belgian Ardennes, the historical places Arlon and Bastogne or even further Neufchateau, Spa or the caves of Han.
• The nature of the Eiffel in Germany is completely different from the Ardennes due to its volcanic origin. Trier is not only attractive due to its 2.000 old history but also well-known for shopping. In Bitburg the Entertainment Pool the “Cascade%u201D and in Gondorf the “Eifelpark%u201D are a nice change for the children.
• If you decide to visit France, you should not miss Metz. While you are in the region you have to visit Verdun, and one day is barely enough to assess the damages caused by world war one. The “Walygator Parc%u201D near Metz, on the way to Paris is a real adventure for the children.
